Running Calendar

I’m taking a break from running / triathlon training for the immediate future. I’ll be walk/running a few 5ks but overall just doing what I can and trying to have FUN! 🙂

    I’m sure you’ve addressed this somewhere . . . but I’m a new reader and runner looking at working towards my first 5K, did you follow a program when you first started?

    I’ve actually had a few people recommend that specific program. I’ve been doing a “three weeks to 30 minute running habit” and now I’m in the fifth week. I think after next week I’m going to do the Couch to 5K but probably start at week four. And I have to admit, I’m feeling discouraged these last couple of weeks. Trying to re-motivate and get excited again!

    This is such a great idea, I’ve been hoping to get into triathlons this year and have been telling myself I’ll do a half marathon for about three years… I think if I had events on the calender like you have I’d progress and actually achieve my goals. Inspirational 🙂
